With Mobile Shell 3, I rarely use the Stylus on 6.1... Great review on the Touch Pro 2 wavey, definitely a good insight...

On the Diamond 2, the back button acts as the OK button as well in things like calendar etc. Is this not the same on the Touch Pro 2?

It does and it doesn't. Basically, if you look at the example in the review, when creating an appointment if you use the back button it just goes back and your data is lost. It's an inconsistency with the OS with the difference between "OK" and "X".

I was under the impression that (for the most part) the TP2 and D2 use the same OS.

In the review, you state that you filled out the appointment and then hit the home button and lost the appointment. But every appointment I have ever created on the D2, I've used the back button (not the home button) and the appointment has been saved.

Same goes for using Word/Excel on the D2, and every other application that I can remember paying attention to, when I'm done I hit the back button and the work is saved and word/excel minimises to taskbar.

Sorry, yes, the D2 and TP2 do use the same OS.

I meant the back button. If I create an appointment and hit back it didn't save.

Thats what I find strange about the TP2, would have thought HTC would include this "feature" on the TP2.

Unless the handset that wavey got has a defect on it?

Re: HTC Touch Pro 2 Review - A week in my life.....

I have heard that there is a button on the back that functions the same as an OK button. (Purely Hearsay at the moment, but I would love it if you could confirm/deny that for me.) As for the contact card. Not quite as useless as it seems. If you happen to have a Facebook account, it is used to sync up your contacts with their respective Facebook personas. You can even use their current Facebook photo as the phones caller ID photo. It's a nice touch.
