Reminds me of this old favourite! Perhaps a little out of date now, but it might ruffle a few feathers

That did make me chuckle when I first saw it. You might get a stoning for bringing that back up now mate.....

Before I bought my TP2, I had a TD2 for 2 days, but the display broke down due to some shortcircuit in its resistors.
I'm rather glad it did, because I think the TP2 is the much better device overall. Leaving its size aside, it's got the better design and the build quality seems superior as well. The TP2 does everything the TD2 does, only the camera has less pixels, that's all.

And better they are! If you compare the predecessors side by side with the current TD2 and TP2, you can really see the difference. HTC have seriously ironed out most of the sluggishness and the new interface really is as snappy as can be.
Nonetheless, more horsepower will certainly help and I still fail to understand why there still is so little RAM being built into current smartphones, given how cheap it has become.

While it is disappointing, the onscreen touch OK/Finish buttons work rather well and the omission on the keyboard helps keep the overall size decent.

Re: HTC Touch Pro 2 Review - A week in my life.....
I've been playing with the Touch Diamond 2 this weekend and it's a very different device to the Touch Pro 2. It's SO different I wouldn't be surprised if it had been from a different manufacturer. The Touch Pro 2 is very well put together and the diamond does feel as sturdy. It's a much nicer form factor though in my opinion. The Touch Pro 2 needs to be smaller.

Perhaps, but having used both devices, I must say that I've come to appreciate the physical keyboard in the TP2. Somehow I just couldn't really get to grips with the onscreen keyboard of the TD2, but that may be due to my clumsy fingers...

I think different people have a different experience with the software keyboards. Personally I'd rather have the smaller form factor and live with the software keyboard. That said, I find the HTC ones quite accurate.

I'm with wavey in prefering the smaller form factor of the Diamond2. The software keyboard, while taking a couple days to get used to, is fine for all my text inputs
