Just went off to find a link for you - you can get TCPMP version 0.71 from:
http://picard.exceed.hu/tcpmp/0.71/
Other fantastic utilities/tips:
There's a thread somewhere on 4winmobile that leads you to a small application called KeyLightOff that allows you to turn off the LED lights (power, LAN, Bluetooth, and button back light). Very useful when using the PDA in the dark.
I mapped one of my push-hold hardware key presses to turn the lights off. The lights come on again as soon as you do something that alters the light state (plug in power, change the screen brightness, switch the thing off then on, etc.
Another useful tip is to configure another push-hold hardware button to rotate the screen. I use this all the time and saves a lot of hassle - it also works when you're running TomTom...
SoftX FTP client from softx.org - a free, simple ftp client. Very effective.
Noni GPSPlot - *free* GPS tracking software - this is
really good tracking software that I sometimes play with. It is available from
http://aeguerre.free.fr
I have this mapped to my GPS hardware button!
PocketXpdf - read PDF documents for free!
WiFiFoFum - a WiFi 'wardriving' package - detects WiFi hotspots
PortSplitter - Split a hardware port (GPS, for example) so that more than one app can access it at a time. You could run NoniGPS and TomTom concurrently from you built in GPS hardware!
Oh. I nearly forgot - probably the most significant thing I did with my N560 was to install the Broadcom Bluetooth stack to replace the rather pathetic MS one. Again, there's a thread on 4winmobile that will get you to the appropriate software. It makes a *huge* difference to the functionality of the Bluetooth interface - Obex Push for example, which allows you to transfer contacts from a mobile phone to your N560 - the standard stack won't do this!
Microsoft Reader - an ebook reader (there are other packages out there too). I downloaded some free ebooks to keep me occupied...
Now that I think about all this, I should probably put all these details (and more) succinctly on a web page somewhere...
Finally, one of the best resources is this web site - I got lots of very useful help, advice, pointers from 4winmobile - enough to make me sign up!
If you have any problems finding the software I've mentioned, either ask here, or ask me and I can either find you the original links, or I can forward you the software - so long as the licencing allows me to do this legally...
Good luck.
Kind regards,
Andy B.
