Well after one day of use, I am extermely impressed in a number of ways:
The storage and available RAM are far more than the Vario with the same specs for ROM and RAM (APprox 50Mb ROM free after a hard reset and around 25Mb RAM during operation).
The battery life is easily the equal of the Vario (But I may have to uninstall FlexMail as I suspect that this still doesn't auto synch POP3 mails). But even so with the device connected for installing progs and disconnected during most of the day only 80% battery useage.
The signal is better too, with the signal rarely losing its connection which is better than both the IQ and Vario.
The camera is indeed fantastic and even the sliding mechanism of the keyboard feels like something you would expect in a Bentley.
If all this sound like I'm in love well I am, the v1605 even comes with a dialler app which the Orange M3100 and TyTYN doesn't come with. The device came with the initial alignment doen so maybe this shows that Voda are checking the devices for flaws prior to release?
The only downside is that the CPU isn't noticeably faster for me than the Vario with the 2.26 ROM. This may be perception though.
Overall though I really can't see how the Vario II and M3100 will beat this for demand if Voda get a decent data tarrif. This really has to be seen to be believed, as Dave has said already it is the only device to be released without major niggles in it's release state!
