So were can I get my hands on one of these?

I live in the UK and the vodafone dealers here seem to know nothing about this model or when it will be in the stores.

Phone Voda C/S and ask for the QTek v1605.

And welcome to 4WM!

Cheers. Just popped down to my local Vodafone store and what do you know they received a couple in stock this morning!

Just my luck though their systems are down at the moment. Waiting patiently (not!) for that call.

Remember to ask for their lowest price and you may save yourself a few pennies!

Re: Vodafone V P A Compact III v1605 (HTC Hermes) Review

I've just purchased a Vodafone v1605 / HTC Hermes (WM5) which is excellent in almost every respect. My one problem (after 24 hrs) is with synchronising contacts / sim contacts with my bluetooth car phone system (Parrot CK3100). I only want to sync the numbers on my sim card to the Parrot and not the several hundred contact numbers in my Outlook contacts from my PC.

Can anyone explain what settings there are, or what work-around there is to keep the contacts on the car system to be sim only? I know I could stop the phone synching contacts with my PC, but that rather defeats the benefits of a PDA and phone combined.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Welcome to 4WinMobile, glad you enjoyed Dave's review of what is a great device, however have a look around the forum and you may see some issues have been found (with screen alignment) and you might be best hanging on just a little while longer until they have been sorted out.

And as you've probably guessed, Howard is using bbcode voodoo to make us all feel loved
