Hey, who is this Schap person and where can I read more info about the Kaiser ROM. The screen shots that I have seen look just awesome. How is the stability and reliability of this ROM when compared to the HTC default? THis is great stuff!!

Thanks for the answer; I have checked that. Neither the button nor the screen icon can invoke a view on the camera, only blackness.

You can read more about Schap's Kaiser rom in this thread here, the stability of the cooked versus standard roms is as good, if not better in most cases now, hope that helps.

It may be that the the rom has corrupted in some way, try downloading the rom again and reflash.

Reflashed the ROM. I get an error message:

Unable to capture photo. Unable to get frame data from camera device.

I there a camera cab that I can install separately?

I figured it out, it was the radio. After more reading I found it is often an issue, that most know about, except for me the newb.

is there a ver for the xda orbit 2 (HTC Polaris 200) been looking but can't find anything.

Hi shaun and welcome to 4WM

There isn't a Schap's rom version for the Polaris, but other developers have made roms for that device, you need to install an application called Hard SPL first before you install any rom as it helps to stop your device become bricked and unuseable, if you are interested let me know and I will give you a link.

Thanks for the welcome i have already done hard spl, was looking for a good rom, a friend has schap's installed on his htc(different to mine) and i liked it alot so i thought i would follow suit(guess not) would you recommend a good one?
