Re: Support us using Navizon

have now reinstalled Navizon 5 times and still could not get it to see the internal GPS unit. Looked in options and there is only 5 options - Oh no there isn't. Most programs start at the left and you scroll right Navizon starts at the left and you scroll right.

not amused

Re: Support us using Navizon

More pain ahead there Mailman, Navizon is NOT a well behaved program.

Re: Support us using Navizon

Never a truer word said Cyclist - I really hate the way it sticks itself into startup at every chance. But I want to get the award so when I go somewhere new I use it - though whether it stays there after is another matter.

Re: Support us using Navizon

And it crashes frequently and in varied situations on startup - always apparently due to missing error handlers. And will ask repeatedly to download new versions when it's not convenient. OTOH when out cycling having it running showing the map view with Lock on Me set is very useful: I get to a junction, glance down at the Orbit on lanyard around my neck and find out where I am and where I want to go.

Re: Support us using Navizon

Another Navizon award on its way. These take ages to get now, because the area around where I live is thoroughly covered. I'm even running out of places on Sunday cycling trips.

Re: Support us using Navizon

Cheers Cyc, wish I could run it myself, but on the test machine I'm using it has some issues.

Re: Support us using Navizon

It has plenty of issues on mine too, but I've found various ways round them. Got to say that the latest update about 1-2 weeks back has reduced the crash on opening rate hugely.
