Put my sim card in it, it automatically setup my mms and internet settings for me, had to fiddle with the gmail settings alil bit, but its running smoothly on at&t with 3G and Edge and HSDPA.

i've not had the Xperia in my hands - but my partner has the C905 - and for a feature phone it is fantastic. If I wasn't interested in Windows Mobile, the C905 would be my device of choice. The camera is excellent, the device is easy to use (my technophobe other half thinks it's the bee's knees!) only issue I have found with the device is video calling (no front facing camera, so have to either use a mirror or keep turning the device around!!) and the TV-out cable only provide pictures and sound, NOT video

Other than those little erks - it's fab!
