hi

i am using a Asus P535, i have installed the plugin in my device, and the customisation in the minisd. Although i can run the HTC Home Customizer, it does not change anything ( background,icon..etc ) even though i have soft reset my pda. Hope you all will help me out....thanks

Hi registered and welcome to 4WM

Is you Asus running Windows Mobile 2005? If it is then this will not work you need to install the version available on the developers customiser website.

The best thing to do would be to uninstall the HTC Home 6 Button today screen and the Customiser plugin, then reinstall them and follow the instructions exactly in the first post of this thread, and see if that works.

For those who are experiencing problems on EmmuNutz HTC Home Customizer v1.0b5, here is something that has frustrated me.

I am using HTC Home Customizer (HHC1.0b5), and generally I am very happy with it.

I had a problem where suddenly Weather Tab displayed the temperature as (null) instead of High, and in front of the ringtone name there was also (null) instead of the word Ringtone.

Well I think I have figured this out...

It seems that when the Pocket PC is reset or restarted, something goes wrong which causes the problem.

The remedy is quick & simple....

1) Unload HTC Home Start/Settings/Personal/Today Items Tab, and deselect HTC Home.

Go back to the Today Screen to check that it has unloaded. If it has, then go on to Step 2), if not do Step 1) again.

2) Load HTC Home Start/Settings/Personal/Today Items Tab, and select HTC Home.

This is just great!! I am running Black RC, installed both cabs and it works great so far. I think this may well be better than SPB Shell and I am a big SPB fan!!
