The server for these custom cities is obviously no longer working, so there is not much you can do about it I am afraid.

Re: Newest 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab files for all devices (14-

Merry Christmas, first of all!!!

I will probably get shot down in flames for this, but I am a total noob when it comes to this whole Microsoft Mobile thingy (always had a Sony before). Please forgive my ignorance (it is Christmas after all), and gently walk me through this:
  1. How do I actually find the file to edit for my custom home town? I do not find either a "Windows" nor a "HTC" folder when trying to look for it through ActiveSync.
  2. I have so far used a town near where I live (but did find "my" town on accuweather). This worked fine until 4 days ago, since then the weather won't update. i did not, to the best of my knowledge, change any settings.
And yes, i spent hours browsing forums to look for answers, but did not find anything except confusion. Regrettably, i now have to go and work for a living.

Good hols to all,

Hanno

Re: Newest 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab files for all devices (14-

Right after a hard reset, I went into the Today setting for HTC Home, and changed the order of the tab so that the Launcher is now the first tab. Everything works fine as long as I don't soft reset the device. As soon as it reboots, it will stuck at flash page, and I have to do a hard reset. I ran a number of tests and I am sure changing the order is the event that triggers this.

Anyone else has the same problem?

Re: Newest 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab files for all devices (14-

Hello all, I am new here and I tried to use this application. It installed properly and I was messing around with the customizations. I was then prompted to reset my device because of some change I made. I said yes and my device restarted. Since then it will not load past the opening windows mobile page and I can't use the phone at all. btw I have a mogul on sprint. What do I do now? Is my phone bricked because of the HTC home plugin or can I save it??? arghhhhhh! How can I do a hard reset?

Hi bigme99 and welcome to 4WM

Have a try of the other HTC 6 Button Home plugin available at the link below and see if that makes a difference, it is the original version, I will edit my first post to state this:-

PocketEmu Software: Downloads / HTC Home Plugins

Re: Newest 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab files for all devices (14-

I have this installed, everything looks great.

One small problem........in the launcher, I lost functionality of the backlight button. If I delete it and add it again, same problem.

Does anybody else have this problem?
