Re: Newest 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab files for all devices (14-

Hi gldmmber and welcome to 4WM

It is not a dumb question ask what you like! I am afraid this will not work on Smartphones only on touch screen Windows Mobile devices. I am pretty sure we are still waiting for a smartphone version, unless someone knows differently?

Boz, thanks for the reply. I know there is a smartphone version out there. The new s730

This phone is out and it has that theme on it. This is the same theme (plugin). I sure hope someone can figure this out.

Thank you very much for your reply. I wasnt sure if I was missing it or not.

Yes I am aware of the HTC Home on the s730 but to my knowledge nobody has yet extracted the plugin from the rom to post it up.

As soon as I find a Smartphone version I will add it to the main post.

Thumbs down Re: Newest 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab files for all devices (14-

AS a newby and owner of an ATT Tilt, with WM6, I have tried downloading several phone dialer skins, via cab/active sync, with no success. The files transfer to my phone, but when I click on the only *setup* file showing, on the phone, it starts listing alot of different commands, but then it stops and I do a soft reset with no result. I must also note, I can open the setup file outside of my mobile phone, on my computer, and it goes to a website....Any help would be appreciated. I am desperately trying to change my dialer skin to one with much larger buttons, so far with zero success.

My current steps;
I download the zip file
I unzip it to a folder on my desktop
I open the explore button on my active sync
I copy all the unzipped files from the folder on my desktop and paste then within the explore window that I opened on my active sync function.
The files show up when I do a file explore on my phone
I then tap the only setup file that shows up under file explore
I do a soft reset
No results

Are you unzipping the .cab file? If so, don't unzip it, simply copy it to your device via Storage Card or ActiveSync, and run it from your device .

About the weather!

Is the update on weather working now?
If not, has anyone heard any news about it?

Hi panosdl and welcome to 4WM

The weather updates work on the version posted on the first page, they do not work on the version that was hosted on someones private server as it has obviously been turned off, I have no idea what is happening with it I am afraid.

Re: Newest 6 Button HTC Home plugin+customisation pack cab files for all devices (14-

Really nice work there, the setups worked like a charm and it all looks really nice.
I have 1 question tho: Is there a way to remove the tabs under the clock, so that it shows just the clock and the 3 small tabs/images leading to messages, sms and phone? It takes up just too much space on the screen now so that I can't really see my SPB Diary home plugin anymore.
If I remove all of them via the HTC Home manager, they ALL come back again and HHC cannot remove the HOME button, only all the others.

Hi StarLite and welcome to 4WM

I am afraid there is no way you can do this, it would take a complete rebuild of the application.
