After installing HTC Home Proxy Patched plugin by Idsk (from Xda-Dev), refer to post #2 and #367 in this thread, information re the device available at Device Information (Start>Settings>System) disappears. I haven't noticed any problem with device functioning on my Hermes.

I can not get HTC Plugin 2.0 to start. I installed the one listed in the oroignal post (I have tried others) but it does not load after it installs. MY today screen does not change. I uncheck HTC Home then recheck and even reset the phone but no matter what I do the 2.0 pluggin will not show up.

Hi Mark,

I suspect you refer to v2.1.1005.722 of HTC Home plugin?

Do following: Uninstall -> Softreset -> Install anew -> Softreset
Then, on theory, should work fine. Installation should be on your device, but not SD Card.
My assumption is you run WM6? Providing information re device you use will be useful for further advice from the community
