I just ordered a pack of three replacement stylus for my HTC Diamond from Expansys and according to them the item was in stock. I get my order confirmation through and it states they are waiting on stock in one part, yet it is going to be shipped within one day, I paid extra for recorded delivery too!

What gives with Expansys they are forever stating they have stock when in fact they haven't, no wonder they get a slating all the time, they seem to have got worse. They take your money under false pretences in my book!!

They are not allowed to charge until they dispatch, so they shouldn't have taken your money. And, under the distance selling rules, you are allowed to cancel at any point up to 7 days after receipt.

Still bloomin' annoying though!

They are not the only ones - Proporta sent everything EXCEPT the silicon body shell out of my recent order - with same comment on the online account status "Awaiting Stock".

The really annoying part was the rest of order arrived with all the items delivered listed but with absolutely no indication of there being a missing item. The only way of finding out was to go online. I also initially emailed them to ask where the shortfall was and have never had a reply.

Its really annoying as the the kit is fairly good that has come ( 1 very minor issue and 1 very good comment - but saving for a write up) so its things like this that drag the whole image of the supplier down.

Slightly different issue but just as annoying (and can't remember where I ordered it from - it was a few weeks ago). Ordered a stylus with ball pen built in for my Ignito. Delivered was a stylus for a Diamond - which is a different shape at the base to match the sculptured diamond back - and .... it didn't have a ball pen built in !!!!!!!!!!!!

Still can't find what I want.
