Now that would be very useful indeed!

Re: uBook - what do you want?

Hmmm. I thought I posted this already, so forgive my redundancy:

Epub Support.

Not being involved with the programming, I can rationalize that it "should" be already close - you already open zip files (epub=renamed from zip), so parsing out the peculiarities of epub "should" put it within your grasp.

I know, I know, [ All you do is just... ] is the bane of programming.

But nobody else seems to be anxious to be getting epub onto pocket pc, and this would help with the nitch-carving.......

Re: uBook - what do you want?

I think you did mention ePub support somewhere as I seconded it. I don't think David replied though....

Re: uBook - what do you want?

EPUB: I have an xml/opf parser lying around (part of uBookLite), so maybe someday... But frankly epub is much more than that.

Re: uBook - what do you want?

Is .lit format support possible? I have quite a number of ebooks in Microsoft Reader format (without DRM) - can they be read in ubook without converting?

Re: uBook - what do you want?

You can always use CLit to convert the files that is what I've had to do in the past.

Re: uBook - what do you want?

Not that I'm encouraging mediocrity, but the bar for the current batch of epub readers for all platforms is pretty low. Even Adobe's has Left Justify Only available, no matter what one puts in their epub code.

Would anything be better than nothing?

Re: uBook - what do you want?

For me just one thing:
Batterylevel in the Menubar.
Currently i have to switch to Win to see this (or wait until the low power warning comes up)

Besides that, ubook ist great

Hi demerzel and welcome to 4WM

You can use an application called 'batti' to have an indicator at the top of the screen, it is only a couple of pixels thick and is customisable too, it works on QVGA and VGA devices, see the screenshot below.

batti - Google Code

Re: uBook - what do you want?

Yeah but uBook in full screen mode hides it I think. Not sure though.
