Re: uBook for Android ??

David did suggest sometime back (in this post - http://www.4winmobile.com/forums/211705-post75.html) that he was recoding things which would possibly facilitate porting this to Android and other platforms.

I guess we'll see when the next beta comes out if he's made any progress on that (I hope so, since I'm going to replace by WM smartphone with an Android phone once Verizon Wireless has some to offer).

Cheers, Carl.

Re: uBook for Android ??

Allow me to quote a direct question to David

Quote:
Nothing yet, but I am slowly working on decoupling Windows code from uBook, so Android and iPhone are a (distant) possibility.
Thanks for the kind words,
Kind Regards,
David

Hello,

I'd like to know if you're thinking about porting l'Book to the Android platform?
It's a great book reader, and I think it would be a waste not to port it, because l'Book is the best book reader I found on the market...

Looking forward to your reply,
Nick

Thumbs up Re: uBook for Android ??

The programmer is progressing in removing the dependencies from
MS platforms as he is improving uBook.

Hopefully he will raise the priority of finishing the move so he can make
uBook available on other platforms like "Android"

I would LOVE to see it available on the Archos 5IT!
