uBook & Slovoed

Hi! uBook is my favourite ebook reader and the only thing I miss in it (apart from good PDF support - then uBook would be like a holy grail of ebook readers ) is that I cannot use it with the newest version of (IMHO) the most powerful dictionary for Windows Mobile - SlovoEd 7.1. I was wondering if you could modify version 2010 to work with it? The problem seems to be related to text selection and clipboard and the usage scenario is like this:

Whenever the user selects a word (or a group of words) in uBook and presses the global shortcut key (button 2 in my case though I tried others as well and they did not work) the resident module of SlovoEd intercepts the selected text and fires up the dictionary window. Please note that one does not need to (and, in fact, cannot) use "copy (to clipboard)" for that.


I wrote a script for uBook and added a new action to the menu, but it did not help .

Now, would it be possible to change behaviour of the "cancel" option in uBook's selection menu so that it does not clear the selection (i.e. leaves the selected text intact) after the menu closes? Or, better yet, to have some option which would allow the user to change the default behaviour of uBook's menu (i.e. prevent uBook from automatically opening the menu on text selection)?
