I'm guessing if it doesn't run well i can just go back to xp so i haven't anything to lose apart from time.

Is a 900mhz processorgoing to cut the mustard? I suppose there is only one way to find out.

That's the spirit Paul... Can you take a backup of XP, might be worth it to get you up and running faster should it not be a goer!

I've got one of the new EEE's that came with XP on it (EEE PC900). Well pleased with it and it'll be staying with XP.

Anyway this may help with vista Installing Vista on the Eee - i've done it and it works! - MoDaCo

gonna stick with xpsp3 as i don't havea big enough spare sd at the mo to take the winsxs files which take a lot of space and continue to grow.

mrs johnston411 has appeared with a wii so gonna play with that now.
