Re: Microsoft Security Essentials Beta

Working perfectly on the Win 7 PC at work much lighter than McAfee VSE 8.7i.

Re: Microsoft Security Essentials Beta

Anyone seen this issue with MSSE?

It's been running fine on my main PC since I installed it, but I came in today and the icon was orange. The main page said 'real time protection off' to I clicked the big 'Turn On' button , which dimmed for a while then went back to 'Turn On' and RTP remained off.

I've tried restarting the PC, and manually turning RPT off and on in the options to no avail.

Re: Microsoft Security Essentials Beta

Well, I've logged a bug report. There are about 3 other reports of the same thing, but no responses as yet.

I wonder if this may be related to the fact that UK is not within the allowed region for the Beta testing?

Re: Microsoft Security Essentials Beta

I haven't seen the problem on my netbook, I downloaded the official UK version so thought it was regional.
