Re: How to install, uninstall, and transfer files on Windows Mobile devices - tutoria

Many thanks to my fellow mod The Mailman who gave this useful information on his preferred method of working with .cab files on his device:-

"I have noticed a few posters mentioning that they copy their install CAB files to "my Documents" on their devices.

Just my way of doing it:

I have two directories on my Storage Card:
Cab Files:
Everything that i am running, may install or am thinking about installing or even thought I must download that just in case.

Installed Cabs:
This directory contains all cabs fies I have actually installed and is the location from which I installed them from.

I find this setup makes it easy to do a reinstall after a hard reset. All the possible cab files are on the device ready and for a quick reinstall I have a shorter directory with the ones I was last using.

Obviously this is my way and I am sure there must be many others."
