Re: Q: What are the UK & ROI GPRS settings for Web. WAP,

I'm kind of suprised that it doesn't work out the box. I might hard reset in the next couple of days as I was going to test something tonight/tomorrow. If I do I'll throw in my Voda SIM and test it out of the box after I hard reset and before I rebuild, then if it doesn't work I'll try and get it going.

Re: Q: What are the UK & ROI GPRS settings for Web. WAP,

Dave - did you have any joy with this yet?

I have just hard reset my device and am trying to Active Sync for the first time following reboot and I get an error relating to support code 0x85010004.

Any clues or help in general with this?

Thanks.

I'm getting it too, only since using AKU 2.3

Have you got Outlook as your default mail app?

Sadly not mate. Got dragged out by the missus so have not had chance. I'll try at work tomorrow.

Check out the FAQ on fixing AS issues that error mormally results from IP addresses being blocked at the RNDIS stage of negotiation.

Re: Q: What are the UK & ROI GPRS settings for Web. WAP,

Hmm - fairly sure thats not the cause - up until hard reset today I was syncing remotely no problem (though still only via WAP cos I cant get 3G/GPRS to sync).

From memory the first time I synced with the cable back when i first got the device it prompted to me to install a cert (not using SSL btw) but now im trying the "first" sync remotely its not even getting that far.

Ive read in some places that your first sync has to be done with the cable and elsewhere I have read thats not true.

God I shall be glad when I get this working 100% - its been a halfway house up to this point!!
