Peter Klein lets WM7 at MWC 2010 slip

While being interviewed on Fox news Peter Klein the CFO of Microsoft let it slip that WM7 will be at the mobile world congress in 2010

Fox News: “Are we going to see Windows 7 Mobile come out in 2010? What is your plans for that?”

Peter Klein: “We are heads down working on Windows Mobile 7 . We will have much more to say about that at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February.”

So with a bit of luck some information at least will be forthcoming. But I'll bet there will be little information as to what WM7 is, just too dangerous at this stage to give that information to the competition.

I suspect a release date and some waffle about WM 6.6 will be about it I reckon.
