Re: What SIP do you use?

am a bit late to this party, but i have finally taken the plunge and bought TouchPal after persevering with it for the 15 day trial.

Very impressive. the default HD2 SIP is good, but this is noticably quicker to use and more accurate at predicting text properley.

I found it difficult in accessing certain special characters.

yes - it certainly takes some learning, but i a took the plunge because i noticed over the 15 day trial that the steep learning curve had a good payoff and now i can rattle along at a very decent speed with this, compared to others i have tried.

the only irritation is that occasionally if you quickly hit two keys in succesion that happen to be at opposite sides of the keyboard to each other, then it can be mis-taken as a swipe and the keyboard layout changes to the next in line.

other than that i think it is a pretty quick way of entering text.

Re: What SIP do you use?

Hmm braver than me in persevering. Mind you these days I do little text entry on the machine so for what I do the standard keyboard is fine.
