Enhanced Features with Special Functions

To accelerate text entry Fitaly offers four very powerful add-on features: Sliding for even faster speed. You can just slide on any letter to get capitals, slide on any key to copy or delete highlighted text, slide to have your most frequently used words or phrases at the tip of your pen - all designed for minimum hand motion, maximum function, and speed.

A new built-in text expander You can use shortcuts for your professional terminology, emails, frequently used names and addresses. Fitaly 5 offers a new user-friendly Fitaly Editor letting you customize the slide files and glossaries that come with it and create new ones. A macro language You can choose from a list of macros to create a slide or a shortcut that will copy, paste, launch an application or a photo, add the current date, and more. All you need to do is slide or type a letter or two.

New Preview window that shows not only your slides and expansions. It also can show a display describing what your slide or expansion is meant to produce.

A SMART KEYBOARD

The efficiency of the Fitaly on-screen keyboard lies in its layout and its enhanced features. Most people think 10 fingers are necessary to do extensive texting. Fitaly allows 10-finger speed with a single pointer. As one user puts it: “Simply nothing better. I’ve tried many different input programs and fitaly stands out well above the rest.”

Optimized for the pen

The patented keyboard is optimized for pen, stylus, or one-finger typing by placing the most frequently used letters in a very tight central area. Moving your pen or finger within a circle with a 3/8 inch radius will reach fourteen letters that comprise 84% of the letters normally used in English (and all indo-european languages) plus two space bars.

Great Flexibility

The main panel offers all you need at first sight: letters, numbers, punctuations: The «123» key pops up a number panel that displays numbers in calculator or phone layout, currency symbols, math symbols, and the most common symbols used with numbers (parenthesis, equals, plus, etc.)

The letter panel, the number and punctuation panels can be modified to produce all 220 characters of the Latin 1 character set - and even more. All Unicode characters are available.
